Boxed in

I think noone have missed the fact that the big entertainment industries is working hard in protecting their intressts in the world. Waging wars on consumers by introducing copyprotection on games, movies and now also tv-shows. Sueing them in court. Scaring em in the news. etc. etc.

The movie companies are actually trying to get a new law passed that will force tv manufacturers to include a chip that will make it impossible to copy a show from your tv to internet.

Well, things are getting worse... comsumers are forced into a black box where they are fed the useless garbage the companies comes up with... at an alarming rate I might add.

Now Intel is working on a new CPU that will be controlable from a central server dictating what you can put on your computer... And it dosnt stop there... Even mobile phone companies are locking their cellphones to certain systems for music and movies... if you havnt bought it from their sites you aint playing it on their mobiles ...

Next generation of windows will also join this madness... Microsoft is preparing a DRM (Ditigal Rights Manegement) system on their new operating system that will control what you listen to and watch on your computer... like if the Intel stuff isnt bad enough...

And where does it all come from?? Well.. take a guess... hehehe

USA ofcourse... the land of freedom... yea right...

The more I read about new inovations to control the users around the world the more I get angry... the more I do everything I can to avoid their products... In the end I will be forced to NOT use computers and watch tv... because there wont be a TV, computer or phone that is free to use as I see fit...

Yea, I think its right that the producers get paid for their work... but not like this... Its the wrong way of doing business...

Internet has proven over and over again that people like the freedom of exchanging ideas, culture and whatever they can think of...

I belive most of the people working at those big corporations are downloading stuff like the rest of us... so why the hell do they work against themselfs??

I see this going 2 ways...

1. We get boxed into a black dark place where we dont control anything anymore

2. We get angry and start a revolution

History has shown that people can only take so much before a reaction is coming... That reaction has already started... Its still just brewing but its getting hotter for each month that passes on...

Either the revolution will come in form of elections where the big parties are voted out and replaced by new once that changes back the laws to something realistic or the frustration will spill over to violence...

We need a change... because the current course regading our cultural freedom is going straight into oblivion... My daughter will be forced to watch and listen to mainstream gibberish because there wont be any other options left...

My suggestion is simply to stop buying anything from companies that enforce a strict "listen only to us" policy...

Lets smash that box they are trying to build... and lets do it now...

It is actually rather liberating not to buy anything (except for food and items you need to live)...

Try it ... Ive done it for quite some time now...

If my computer dies on me (its old) I wont buy a new Intel thats for sure... and I will not install another MS product on it... Not even the warez versions...

I will go for anything that is free... linux or whatever... even if it will take me 5 month to learn how to use it... hehehe

A new beginning

Well, I guess I can give this thingy a go. Atleast in the morning when I have nothing to do anyway. ;)

So, what am I intressted in ?

Nothing much really... world domination... total control of the universe... simple stuff like that... ;)

While waiting for that to happend I dive deep into the world of movies, games and other deviant and evil things in the world... :)

Not that I actually belive in good and evil ... I belive in a force... but if that force is god, allah, buddah or whatever dont really matter to me... as long as it dosnt expect me to be in a certain way... I am who I am and I am happy with it...

If someone else dosnt like that they can go sodomice themselfs brutaly with a fryingpan... ;)

Naa.. lately my interests have been much into the copyright world... I usualy dont care what happens around me as long as it dosnt affect me directly... but nowdays I am getting sick to see how the world is abusing the word copyright...

I have no intention of being a new pirazine or copyriot blog... I am just gona write what I think about copyrights and what companies/states around the world does... and give a few links to places where I get inspired... hehehe
